Riverside Housing Group Residents Benefit from Added Social Value
Fusion21 member Riverside Housing Group has awarded a 34 month contract to property maintenance and improvement specialist Ian Williams, after accessing our Painting Framework.
Worth up to £3.5 Million, the project - which will provide external repairs and painting in addition to refurbishing communal areas - is due for completion in March 2020.
As part of its contract, Ian Williams is delivering added social value across Riverside communities - including the decoration of community venue Blackburne House in Liverpool, a Grade II listed building which supports local and often vulnerable women to develop their education and training.
In addition, Riverside residents have also benefited from generous donations to a local food bank.
"As a business we feel it’s important we give back to local communities through social value contributions. We’ve delighted to support Riverside communities - from enhancing learning spacing with decorating improvements to providing food donations.”
Kenny Rushton, Business Manager at Ian Williams
Oliver Mooney, Category Manager (Construction) said: “Every pound our members invest helps to make a positive social value contribution in local communities, and it’s great to see how the support of Ian Williams is making a positive difference to residents in Riverside communities.”
